Carbon steel round pipes are an important basic material in engineering construction. With excellent load-bearing capacity, stable welding performance, and high adaptability for processing, they are widely used in building structures, equipment supports, engineering pipelines, and industrial facility construction. Recently, GDD Steel successfully completed the production, inspection, and shipment of a batch of carbon steel round pipe export orders. The total weight of the exported products was approximately 300 tons. The goods have been packaged and shipped in batches to a construction project site in an industrial park in Jakarta, Indonesia. The products will mainly be used for factory steel structure frameworks, equipment support systems, and supporting engineering facilities, providing stable and reliable steel supply support for local industrial development.
The purchasing customer is an Indonesian company specializing in industrial engineering construction, mainly involved in the development of manufacturing parks, warehousing facilities, and industrial supporting projects. With the continuous growth of industrial investment in Indonesia, the customer is advancing the construction of a new production base and has placed high requirements on the stability of steel structure material supply, product quality, and delivery schedules. According to the project design requirements, the carbon steel round pipes supplied in this order include commonly used industrial engineering specifications, such as outer diameters of Ø114mm, Ø168mm, and Ø219mm, with wall thicknesses ranging from 4.5mm to 8mm. The products are mainly used for steel structure support columns, connecting components, and auxiliary structures for equipment installation. For different application areas, GDD Steel carried out classified production based on the technical parameters provided by the customer, ensuring precise matching between pipe specifications and on-site construction requirements.
As a commonly used material in industrial construction, carbon steel round pipes feature high strength and excellent processing performance, meeting various construction requirements such as welding, cutting, and assembly. Meanwhile, Black Carbon Steel Pipe can undergo professional surface treatment and subsequent anti-corrosion coating according to project requirements, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including factory construction, machinery manufacturing, energy facilities, and infrastructure projects.

After order confirmation, GDD Steel quickly organized its sales, technical, production, and logistics teams to coordinate the project. Technical personnel maintained continuous communication with the overseas customer and carefully confirmed product specifications, material standards, packaging methods, and delivery schedules. The production department arranged manufacturing plans according to the project timeline to ensure the order was completed on schedule. During production, the company strictly followed export steel quality management procedures. From raw material procurement, pipe forming, and welding processing to finished product inspection, every stage was carefully controlled. For this batch of carbon steel round pipes, the quality team focused on inspecting the pipe outer diameter, wall thickness, length accuracy, surface quality, and weld condition to ensure compliance with customer technical requirements. After production was completed, GDD Steel conducted sampling inspections and appearance checks on all pipes and prepared relevant quality certificates in accordance with international trade requirements, providing complete support for the customer’s subsequent site acceptance and construction activities.
Considering that carbon steel round pipes require long-distance international transportation, the company developed a detailed logistics plan in advance. Before shipment, all steel pipes underwent anti-rust and moisture-proof treatment and were bundled and secured according to export transportation standards. Each bundle of pipes was reinforced with steel straps to prevent damage caused by collision or compression during transportation. This shipment was completed through a combined “land transportation + sea freight” method. The goods were first transported by large flatbed trucks from the GDD Steel production base to a domestic logistics center. After export loading preparations were completed, the cargo was shipped by sea to Jakarta Port, Indonesia, and finally transported to the industrial park project site.
At the loading site, workers operated strictly according to export cargo handling procedures. Large lifting equipment carefully loaded the bundled steel pipes onto transport vehicles, while the placement was arranged according to weight distribution requirements. The entire loading process was organized and efficient, ensuring the safe departure of the 300-ton steel pipe shipment.
For GDD Steel, this carbon steel round pipe export order represents not only a successful delivery but also demonstrates the company’s comprehensive capabilities in serving overseas industrial projects. In international steel trade, customers focus not only on the products themselves but also on whether suppliers can provide stable supply capacity, reliable quality assurance, and complete project support services.

In recent years, industrialization in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries has accelerated, with continuous development in manufacturing, energy facilities, and infrastructure projects. This has created higher requirements for steel supply chains. Stable and efficient steel supply capabilities have become an important foundation supporting local industrial construction. As a company specializing in international steel supply services, GDD Steel continues to optimize its global supply network and provide overseas customers with a wide range of steel solutions, including carbon steel round pipes, galvanized pipes, stainless steel products, steel plates, steel coils, and structural steel.
